I had a pretty disappointing experience at this hotel. While the location was nice, with ample parking and close to downtown, the rooms were not at all what I expected–they were dirty and poorly maintained. The staff was friendly, but the overall service quality just didn't match the friendliness. Definitely not worth the price I paid.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms were dirty, with mold and bugs in the bathroom. There were pee stains on the toilet and issues like falling ceiling tiles. The door had a big gap allowing outside views, which was not acceptable.
Service

Although the check-in staff was friendly, there were moments when they acted a bit annoyed when I asked questions about my stay.
Location

I had a nice stay at this hotel, which is conveniently located just a short walk from Gatlinburg's entertainment without the hassle of parking. The staff was welcoming and worked hard to accommodate my requests. However, I did face some issues with the cleanliness of my room, which affected my overall impression. While overall value for money was decent, some amenities could definitely be improved.

The hotel had clean and spacious rooms with a lovely back patio overlooking the river, which was a real highlight for me. The staff was friendly and very accommodating when I needed to extend my stay at the last minute due to Hurricane Sally. However, the location had some drawbacks, like construction disrupting certain amenities, and the breakfast options could be improved. Overall, there's great value for money here, but there are a few areas that could use some attention.

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location is great, just a short walk to downtown Gatlinburg and the Smokies, but I found the cleanliness of the rooms to be a concern. The staff was generally friendly, which was nice, but some interactions could have been better. Overall, while there are good aspects to this hotel, cleanliness and parking could use some improvement.

Overall, my stay had its ups and downs. The hotel is conveniently located near restaurants and attractions, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, the rooms had a peculiar odor and appeared outdated. Though there were nice amenities like a pool, the dining experience didn't meet my expectations, with limited breakfast options. Given the price, I expected a bit more comfort and cleanliness in the rooms.

Rooms
5.0
Unfortunately, the rooms had an odd odor and felt quite outdated, plus there was a significant buildup of lint in the bathroom vent. It was clear that others had smoked in the room before our stay.
Service
9.0
The staff was very kind throughout our stay, from check-in to housekeeping. They quickly brought us a shower bench and left us a bag of necessities outside our door, which was a nice touch.
Location

I found the location perfect for attending a family wedding. It was nice being able to walk along the river and the trolley to town made exploring convenient. We also enjoyed that the river was right off our balcony.
Dining

Dining was disappointing as there weren't many options, especially for breakfast, which started later than expected. I would have loved more breakfast variety, like scrambled eggs or some kind of casserole.
Facilities

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. While the pool and hot tub provided fantastic relaxation after a long day, the rooms had some cleanliness issues and a few unexpected guests behind the walls that kept me up at night. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but there was certainly room for improvement in the overall upkeep and dining options.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms had a rustic charm but were in need of better cleaning, and I encountered some noise from an animal living in the walls.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and offered helpful dining suggestions, but I did have a privacy issue when the door opened unexpectedly.
Location

The hotel was in a nice spot, away from the hustle of downtown yet close enough to access everything. There was plenty of parking available, which was a plus.
Dining
6.0
The breakfast was decent, but it started a bit late for early park-goers, and there wasn't a lot of variety.

7.4/10

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the hotel which had a beautiful creek front balcony in a quiet area, but it was just a short walk to all the action in Gatlinburg. The rooms were clean and comfortable, though I found a bit of dirt and chose not to use the jacuzzi. The staff was friendly and helpful, but I experienced some trouble with heating on my first night. While the location was nice and peaceful, the misleading description on the website was a letdown.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were nice and clean, but I found them a bit on the dirty side, and I wouldn't use the jacuzzi because of that. The heating issue on the first night was also disappointing.
Service
8.0
The service was great; the staff was helpful and friendly at check-in and check-out, always ensuring fresh towels and toilet paper were provided.
Location
9.0
The location was great, being far enough from Gatlinburg to avoid the noise but close enough for easy walks to downtown. Plus, the area was lovely to stroll around, especially by the brook.
Dining
7.0
The breakfast was good with home-cooked options, but it wasn't perfect. I enjoyed it on the first day but decided to eat elsewhere for the rest of my stay.
Facilities

The facilities were decent, but nothing overly impressive. The laundry service was helpful, yet there was nothing that stood out as luxurious.

The hotel offers a beautifully designed ambiance with each room boasting a private balcony and a lovely stream view, perfect for relaxation. The service I experienced was outstanding, with friendly staff who were helpful throughout my stay. However, the dining options were lacking, and I expected more variety at breakfast. The location felt a bit remote, which may not suit everyone.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms are smartly designed to include a private balcony with a stream view, but mine was on the smaller side and the bed could have been made better. Overall, they were clean, but there was room for improvement.
Service
9.0
The service was fantastic! Everyone from check-in to housekeeping was incredibly kind and attentive, making me feel very welcomed.
Location
7.0

Dining

I found the dining experience to be quite disappointing with limited breakfast options and no variety. There was a notice about unforeseen events and it just didn't meet my expectations.
Facilities

7.8/10

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The location was fantastic, just a short walk from downtown, and my room had a lovely fireplace and a nice balcony by the creek. Unfortunately, the rooms could really use some updating, and the dining options were pretty limited. The service was friendly, but there were a few hiccups during check-in that made things a bit frustrating.

Rooms
6.0
The room felt like it hadn’t changed since the 70s. While it was fine overall, the back door didn’t lock, and the view from my balcony was less than appealing, overlooking some trash and cigarette butts. However, I really loved the mountain stone fireplace and the private balcony by the creek.
Service
7.0
The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, but they refused to let me check in even a few minutes before 4 pm, which was quite annoying since the reservation listed check-in as 3 pm.
Location
9.0
The hotel’s location was great, just within walking distance to the hustle and bustle of downtown. It's ideal for parking your car and walking around, especially since traffic can be pretty chaotic.
Dining
5.0
The dining options were okay but quite limited, and the hours weren’t very convenient for a day in the park. I'd suggest expanding the area for a more comfortable experience.
Facilities
6.0
The facilities were adequate, but nothing overly impressive. It felt more basic than I expected.

6.8/10

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. On the plus side, the staff was incredibly friendly, and I really appreciated the amenities like the pool and firepit. However, the rooms needed some attention, particularly with a leak that made the floor wet and uncomfortable. The location was a bit far from the main attractions, which made it quieter but less convenient for entertainment. Overall, it was decent value for money but could use improvements.

Rooms
6.0
The rooms were accurate to the website description, but unfortunately, I encountered a leak that soaked a large portion of the floor.
Service
7.0
The staff was super friendly and even brought a shower bench for me right away. It was a shame though that one staff member seemed bothered when I reported a clog in the toilet, which was really off-putting.
Location
7.0
The location was a bit removed from the main entertainment center, making it quiet but less convenient for getting out and about. I did enjoy walking along the river though.
Dining

Breakfast options were limited, starting later than I would have liked, but it was hot and worth the $5.
Facilities
